Earl Short

Earl G. Short, 77, of Carroll, OH, died on Friday morning, February 7, 2025, at the Arbors at Carroll. He was born Monday, March 17, 1947, in Ross County, a son of the late Alex and Mary Johnson Short.

He is survived by two daughters: Serebrena Short of Lancaster and Kathy Schumaker-Penwell of Kennedy, NY and one son: Toby Short of Lancaster, 9 grandchildren: Sabrina, Belinda, Christopher, Ashley, Amanda, Samantha, Tyler, Dustin and Ackyla and several great - grandchildren, two sisters: Marian Sue Secrest of Frankfort and Jodie Lynn Stack of Florida and two brothers: Dave Short of Florida and Harland Keaton of Frankfort. Earl was preceded in death by one grandson, Jamie, three brothers: Lonnie, Bill and infant brother, Arthur.

Earl had worked for several years at the Sugar Creek Stone Quarry near Washington C.H.

Family and friends can visit with his family at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort, on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cremation will follow the visitation.
