Edith K. Barnhart

Edith K. Henss Barnhart 85, of Bainbridge died at 4:16 pm Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus. She was born June 17, 1930 in Frankfurt, Germany the daughter of the late Maria Bayer Bonneder. On October 18, 1948 she married, Clifford W. "Bub" Barnhart who died Saturday, August 27, 2011.
She is survived by her children, Shirley (Donnie) Adkins of Bainbridge, Wayne (Debbie) Barnhart of Bainbridge and Eric (Jodi) Barnhart of Randleman, NC; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; special friends, Pete and Edna Kinzer and Tiny Free Holbert.
In addition to her mother and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Phyllis.
Edith loved sewing and collecting fenton glass, depression glass, books and movies.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the SMITH- MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with Rev. Dr. Phillip Malone and Rev. Marland Penwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with Edith's family from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
