Edith M. Lewis

Edith M. Lewis, 82, of Clarksburg, died on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 8:35 a.m. in the Adena Greenfield Medical Center. She was born on February 27, 1932 in Athens, Tennessee the daughter of the late John D. and Ollie Morrow McCaslin. On March 19, 1955 she married Woodrow Lewis and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2013.

Surviving are her daughters, Brenda Lambdin of Medway, Sandra Morsch of Fairfield, Cheryl Dugan of Clarksburg, five beautiful grandchildren, Yvonne, Roger, Jeff, Lori, Lisa, thirteen great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, brother, Harry McCaslin of Fairborn, a special friend, Tom Sherrick, and numerous nieces and nephews,. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Dana Howland, two sisters, Eva Sue Schulmeister, Barbara Williams, and two brothers, Carl and John McCaslin.

Edith retired from the former Walnut Manor Nursing Home, Clarksburg, where she worked as a nurse's aide.

Funeral service will be held on 1 p.m. Monday, November 24, 2014 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with her grandson, Roger Nixon officiating. Burial will follow in Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg. Friends can visit with Edith's family from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, Edith requested that donations be made in her memory to an activity fund of a nursing home of the donor's choice.
