Elizabeth A. "Lib" Sowers

Elizabeth A. "Lib" Sowers, 82, of Washington C.H., passed away on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Mount Carmel West Medical Center, Columbus. She was born in Ross County on January 3, 1931, the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie Hollar Sever. She married Thomas E. Sowers on July 30, 1948 and he preceded her in death on October 12, 2008.

She is survived by six children; Carol (Maurice) Storts of Clarksburg, Chuck (Judy) Sowers of Clarksburg, Tom (Mary Ann) Sowers of Frankfort, Don (Ruth Ann) Sowers of Clarksburg, Larry (Crystal) Sowers of Williamsport and Jim "Toad" (Tina) Sowers of Washington C.H., fifteen grandchildren; Greg, Shannon, Chris, Kim, Brian, Shane, Shawn, Ashley, Andrew, Chance, Cassie, Tia, Brooke, Tessa and Vince, fifteen great grandchildren, one sister; Virginia Bradley of Springboro, one brother; James w. Sever of Washington C.H. and her close friends; Dave and Peg Storts, Mary Lou Barrett and Pete Dunkle. She is preceded in death by one son; Dan "Skeeter" Sowers, three sisters and four brothers.

Lib was a 1948 graduate of Frankfort High School. She had been a member of the Adena Boosters and will be remembered as the famous donut maker.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Neil Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
