Ellen "Sally" J. Parrish

Ellen J. "Sally" Parrish 79, of Bainbridge died 9:16 pm Thursday, May 5, 2016 at her home following an extended illness. She was born April 30, 1937 in Ross County the daughter of the late Fred and Mabel Weatherby Gossett.

Sally is survived by her husband Larry "Foxy" Parrish; daughter-in-law, Lora Raines of Frankfort; granddaughters, Sarah (Kyle) Littler of Bainbridge and Betsy (Dereck) Blevins of Chillicothe; great grandchildren, Kyla and Drake Littler and Bailey Blevins; several sisters-in-law including her close friend and caregiver, Janet Hollon; brothers-in-law; nephews and nieces including, Diane Elliott.

She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Raines; sister, Betty Taylor; brother, Dave Gossett and nephew, Mike Taylor.

Sally enjoyed painting, crocheting and taking care of her flower garden. But most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Friends may visit with Sally's family from 5-8 pm Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge. Cremation will follow the services.
