Elroy Fitchpritch

Elroy R. Fitchpritch, 78, of Greenfield, died at 4:55 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at his home. He was born on Saturday, August 14, 1944, in Ironton, Ohio, the son of the late Howard and Irene Blizzard Fitchpritch. Elroy was preceded in death by his wife, Clarisa "Chris" Newman Fitchpritch, on March 6, 2009.

He is survived by a step daughter; Michele Fairrow of St. Paul, MN, and his caregiver, John David Turner of Greenfield.

Elroy was a US Marine Corps veteran of the Viet Nam War. He was a machinist and worked at the Mead Paper in Chillicothe and Bundy Tubing in Washington C.H. He was a member of Post 4736, VFW in Greenfield.

A military graveside service will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2023 in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Visitation will be held at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort from noon until the time of the service. Following the service, he will be laid to rest beside his wife.
