Eugene Lee Broughton

Eugene “Gene” Lee Broughton 59 of Chillicothe passed away unexpectedly Monday, December 7, 2020 at his home. He was born January 12, 1961 in Greenfield, Ohio the son of Gladys V. (Brown) Broughton of Wellston and the late Carl E. Broughton.  

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Tara L. (Smith) of Chillicothe; son Steven L. (Robin) Broughton of Rockbridge; daughter Tabitha S. Broughton of Washington Court House; grandchildren Samantha, Matthew, Steven, Renasha and Brianna; and his fur-children Bella and Gypsy.

Graveside services will be held 2 pm Friday, December 11, 2020 in the Twin Township Cemetery with Cheston David officiating. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, face coverings will be required, and social distancing should be maintained. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help assist the family.
