Evelyn M. Gilmore

Evelyn M. Gilmore, 32, of Clarksburg, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in the emergency room at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on Saturday, October 8, 1988 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Russell S. and Mary F. Bernard Gilmore.

Surviving her are her long-time companion, Ronald L. Secrest, of Clarksburg, her mother, Mary F. Gilmore of Washington C.H., her son, Gage Secrest at home, two brothers, Russell L. Gilmore of Washington C.H. and Robert R. Gilmore of Frankfort. Evelyn is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and her many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Russell S. Gilmore.

Evelyn was a 2006 graduate of Logan Elm High School and Pickaway Ross Vocational School where she was in the Law Enforcement class. She loved animals and volunteered many hours at the Ross County Animal Shelter. Evelyn loved spending time with Ron fishing and time at the Lost Tribe Motorcycle Club.

A graveside service for family and friends to attend will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 1 p.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Her friend, Pastor Foot, will officiate the service. Those attending the service will need to wear a face mask and observe social distancing. No calling hours will be held.
