Evelyn H. Hough

Evelyn H. Hough, 92, of Chillicothe, died at 8:10p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born on November 24, 1922, in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Chauncey L. and Leila R. Carpenter North. On June 20, 1941, she married Robert D. Hough, who preceded her in death on June 9, 1993.

Surviving are two children, Cookie "Myrna L." (Roland) Sohnholz of Pine, CO, Donna L. (Greg) Ebert of Chillicothe, four grandchildren, Carrie Oleigeason, Cynthia Sherriff, Christan Sohnoholz, Shelly Causey, eight great grandchildren, Gunnar, Jaegar, Austin, Cole, Lane, Emma, Colt, and Cadee. She was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Koblentz, and one brother, Claude North.

Evelyn was a 1941 graduate of Chillicothe High School, and a member of the Frankfort United Methodist Church, where she was part of the Mary Martha Sunday School Class. Evelyn loved to play bridge, and it was an important part of her life.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Neil Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort.
