Evelyn Imogene Houseman, 82, of Bainbridge, went home to heaven 4:30 pm Monday, February 19, 2018 from Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born May 27, 1935 in Adams County the daughter of the late Ernest and Opal Williams Mosteller. On March 12, 1954 she married Jimmie E. Houseman, who survives. Also surviving are her children, Steve Houseman (Amanda Daniels and children Kayla Daniels-Houseman and Morgan Daniels) of Chillicothe and Jennifer Houseman of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Cameron McKimmy and Jordan (Trisha) Payne; brother, Richard (Ruth Ann) Mosteller of Latham and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Evelyn was a 1953 Graduate of Bainbridge High School. She kept the books for, the family businesses, Midwest Piping and Progressive Welding and Engineering for several years. Evelyn attended the Bainbridge United Methodist Church and she was a member of the Bainbridge Senior Citizens, the Bainbridge Historical Society and past member of the Eastern Star and Paxton Life Squad.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Bainbridge United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Thursday at the Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Bainbridge United Methodist, PO Box 528 Bainbridge.
