Evelyn Mae Jackson

Evelyn M. Jackson, 88, of Circleville, formerly of Greenfield, died at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday November 23, 2011 in St. Catherine's Care Center, Washington C.H. She was born on January 11, 1923 in Ross County the daughter of the late Roy and Cornelius Leaverton Seitz. She married Oscar Milton Jackson on May 11, 1940 and he preceded her in death on May 4, 1959.

Evelyn is survived by three daughters; Helen L. (Dean) Palmer of Greenfield, Ann E. (David) Cockerill of Washington C.H., Mary L. Jackson of Columbus, seven grandchildren; Dee Anna Palmer, Grant Allen Palmer, Donita Dawn Rowland, Chuck Cockerill, Craig Cockerill, Teresa Baird, Samantha Jaglowski, and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Evelyn was a retired clerk from Uhl's IGA where she worked for sixteen years. She was a member of the Greenfield Church of Christ.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 at the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield with Danny Dodds officiating. Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery.
