Evelyn L. Williams, 76, of Greenfield, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at 10:17 A.M. at her home. She was born October 14, 1938 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Ray and Sannie Murphy Everhart. She was preceded in death by her husband John F. Williams.
She is survived by her five children; Ricky (Becky) Williams, Randy (Viv) Williams, Janet (Randy) Whaley all of Hillsboro, John (Lisa Joseph) Williams Jr. of Leesburg and Debra Williams of Greenfield, ten grandchildren; Rick Mason, Misty Cowman, Ricky Williams Jr., Mandy Snodgrass, Richard Lyons, Randy Williams Jr., Tony Whaley, Brenda Stevens, Gentry Williams and David Williams, seventeen great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one sister; Crystal Higgens of Savannah, Georgia, several cousins, nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by one grandson Jerami Lee Williams.
Evelyn was a 1956 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School. She was a devoted mother who loved her family very much. She loved being outdoors caring for all her flowers she planted.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield with Pastor Kay Austin officiating. Burial will follow at Gilboa Cemetery, New Petersburg. Friends may visit with Evelyn's family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
