Florence Martha "Martie" Hudnell

Florence Martha "Martie" Nevin Hudnell, 49 of Bainbridge, Ohio, passed from this life on Sunday July, 12, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Martie left her life here on earth to spend eternity with her daughter, Chelsea Hudnell, who preceded her in death on February 24th 1990.
Martie was diagnosed with cancer in August 2014. She didn't see cancer as a threat, but as something to conquer. She lived every single day with the motto "Never give up".
Martie was born on August 30, 1965. She was the daughter of Richard and Rhoda Nevin, who survive.
She is also survived by children: Robert Shane (Stephanie) Hudnell, Shanda Hudnell and Shawn Hudnell; Siblings: Katherine (Kenny) Skaggs, Tabitha (Todd) Bobb, and Richard (Donita) Nevin; Grandchildren: Chase, Tylin, Braylin, Addisyn, Aydin, Emma and Lilliyn; Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; Special Uncle : Steve Miller; Special friends: Regina Six and Tim and Ellen Beach.
Martie possessed a creative soul, and enjoyed making crafts. She got such enjoyment from giving her homemade designs to family and friends. She really valued her time spent with her family, laughing, and making memories that will be forever treasured.
The Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home in Bainbridge, Ohio is serving the family although no calling hours will be observed and a private graveside ceremony will be held at the discretion of the family. Flower arrangments may be sent to the funeral home on Friday July 17, 2015.
Memorial contributions can be made in Martie's name to the American Cancer Society or to the Relay for Life in your area.
