Frances Ann Sims

Frances A. Sims, 74, of Chillicothe, died at 4:20 PM on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation Center, Chillicothe. She was born on August 3, 1937 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Martin Monroe and Marie Loel Tinker Sr. On June 1, 1963 she married Richard D. Sims, who preceded her in death on January 11, 2011.

Surviving are one daughter; Teresa (Dwayne) Steinbrook of Chillicothe, two sons; Brian (Tammie) Sims of Frankfort, Jeffrey (Tammy) Sims of Chillicothe, nine grandchildren; Don Steele II, Tiffany Ward, Joshua Steele, Travis Sims, Tori Sims, Kasie Sims, B.J. Sims, Kirsten Sims, Jacob Sims, four great-grandchildren; McKenzie Steele, Caden Steele, Taylor Ward, Meloney Sims. She was preceded in death by sister; Gertrude Shoemaker and an infant sister, and brother; Martin Tinker II, and an infant brother.

Frances was a graduate of Centralia High School. She was a member of Dry Run United Methodist Church.

Funeral service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, May 3, 2012 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Rev. Mark Clendaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Chillicothe. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8PM.
