Fred Eugene McCoy

Fred E. McCoy, 87, of Williamsport, died Thursday evening, September 30, 2010 at Pickaway Manor, Circleville. He was born on January 5, 1923 in South Salem, the son of the late A.R. and Martha M. Clyburn McCoy. On October 17, 1942 he married the former Janet R. Brown who survives.



Also surviving are their sons; Brooks (Cindy) McCoy, Randy (Martha) McCoy, all of Williamsport, grandchildren; Heather Anderson, Lori McCoy, Beth Skaggs, Eric McCoy, great-grandchildren; Logan and Mick Skaggs, and Audra Anderson. He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.



Fred was a 1941 graduate of Frankfort High School. He was a member of the New Holland Masonic Lodge for 62 years and was a member of Atlanta United Methodist Church. Fred enjoyed tractor pulls.



In keeping with Fred's wishes, cremation will take place. No services will be held at this time. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Atlanta United Methodist Church, c/o Joann Newton, 13435 Judas Road, New Holland OH 43145. The EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort is serving the family.
