Fred Henry Skaggs 71 of Carmel died 2:41 pm Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati. He was born November 29, 1943 in Ross County the son of the late Thomas and Flora I. Wilson Skaggs.
He is survived by his sisters, Edith Rachford of South Salem, Phyllis Sexton and Cora Basye both of Greenfield; brother, Richard Skaggs of Carmel and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents Fred was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
Fred was a farmer most of his life and he enjoyed to hunt and fish on occasion.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday, November 16, 2015 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the South Salem Cemetery. Friends may visit with Fred's family from 11am until the time of service Monday.
