Fred W. White

Fred W. White, 68 peacefully went to his heavenly home, surrounded by his loving family on August 30, 2011. He was born May 15, 1943 to Harry and Frances (Cooper) White. Fred was married on September 22, 1962 to the love of his life, Gwen Dotson, who survives.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Brent (Cindy Pearson) White; grandson, Chris (Shae) White; granddaughters, Mary, Samantha and Miranda White and Caitlyn Watkins and great granddaughter, Kimber White, all of whom he loved dearly. Sisters, Glenda Morris and Sandra Young and a brother, Joe White. Fred was predeceased by a son, Glen Bradley White, his parents and two brothers, Larry Curtis and Garrett White.

He was a faithful and dedicated Christian and he attended Storms Chapel. Fred left a wonderful testimony of his love for the Lord. He loved reading his Bible, listening to gospel music and he love to fellowship with his Christian friends.

He also loved to travel and looked forward to the yearly Smokey Mountain vacation with his extended family, his sisters and brothers-in-law, who will love and miss him. Fred retired after 29 years, from Kenworth.

Fred was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a loyal friend to many. He was loved by all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be held 1 pm Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Storms Chapel with Rev.'s Dan Bennett and Sammie Cooper officiating, burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 pm Friday at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge.
