Fredrick I. Norris 62, of Bainbridge died 6 am Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at his residence. He was born June 17, 1948 in Albany, KY the son of the late William Jesse and Ada Georgia Honeycutt Norris.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Ellen Cross Norris; 3 children, Sandy (Anthony) McGlone of Bainbridge, Joseph Ray (Debbie) Norris of Hillsboro and Shelia Mae (Bill) Malott of Bainbridge; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jane Jones and Beulah Wells; 2 brothers, Edward Lewis and Edwin Bruce Norris; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Fred was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Mary Means, Ruby Groce and Undine Shelly; and 2 brothers, Skylar L. and Joseph W. Norris.
Fred was an Army Veteran of Vietnam and a member of the American Legion Post 14 of Bainbridge.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Beech Flats Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Evans officiating. Burial will follow in the Cynthiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 am until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Caner Society PO Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
