Gary Lee Evans

Gary Lee Evans, 56 of Bainbridge was born August 4, 1954 in Bainbridge, Ohio to Tub Evans and Bonnie Yates. He departed this life April 8, 2011 at Maple View Manor, Bainbridge after an extended illness.



On July 9, 1974 he married the former Darlene Alpha McGlone who departed this life July 25, 2010. He is survived by his daughter, Christina (Paul) Holycross of Bainbridge; granddaughters, Chelsie and Brooklyn Holycross; father, Tub (Jeannie) Evans of Bainbridge; mother, Bonnie Yates of Piketon; sisters, Brenda Beasley of Chillicothe and Cinda (Doug) Knisley of Bainbridge; brother, Bill Fuller of Greenfield; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Vernon and Bonnie Middleton, JD and Sharon McGlone, Allen and Nancy Lester and a special sister-in-law, Florene Trent.



In addition to his wife, Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Alpha Lynn Evans and grandparents, Seth and Iva Evans.



When he was able, he attended the Beech Flats Baptist Church.



The family would like to send a special thanks to In Care and Maple View Manor for the care they gave Gary during his illness and JohnsonA's Dairy Queen for all of the support they have given.



Funeral services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Bainbridge. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 noon until the time of service Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
