Gary Wheeler

Gary K. Wheeler, 70, of Chillicothe, died at 12:02am on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at his home. He was born on Thursday, November 20, 1952 in Ross County, a son of the late Willard M. and Patricia Sheets Wheeler. On June 22, 1974 he married the former Debora K. Graham, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by three children, Gary William (Leigh-Ann) Wheeler of Frankfort, Misty Lynnette (Danny) Wheeler of Mt. Sterling, Tami Ranae (Preston) Reisinger of Frankfort, eleven grandchildren, Rachel Graves, Kirk Elder, Garrett Curtis, Kayleigh Wheeler, Blake Yoe, Caydence and Jaxon Reisinger, Brandon, Sean, Ian, and Dalton Wheeler, two great-grandchildren, Kayson and Hadlee Graves, one sister, Kim Chapman of Frankfort, two brothers, Richard (Cathy) Wheeler of Frankfort, Doug Wheeler of Frankfort, special nephew, Clint Ison, and special friend, Tom Smith of Frankfort. Gary was preceded in death by one sister, Vicki Allison, one brother, Bill Wheeler, and one great-grandson, Daxton Graves.

Gary retired from General Motors. He owned and operated Ross Computer Services in Chillicothe for more than 25 years. He coached Chillicothe Youth Baseball for 30 years, and sponsored Ross Computer Teams for 10 years.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 1pm in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort with Pastor Cliff Rowe officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends and family are invited to visit with Gary's family on Wednesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8pm.
