George "Doc" Jenkins
George "Doc" Jenkins, 79, of Greenfield, died at 10pm on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Valley View Care Center, Frankfort. He was born on October 10, 1936 in Springfield, the son of the late George E. and Julia Marie Harris Jenkins.
He is survived by one sister, Lucille Jenkins of Bainbridge, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by five sisters and five brothers.
Doc worked as a tile layer for Arnold Smith.
A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, February 1, 2016 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may visit with the Jenkins family on Monday from 11am until the time of service.
