George Edward Young

George Edward Young 82 of Bainbridge died 8:20 am Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at  Maple View Manor, Bainbridge. He was born October 3, 1934 in Smithville, TN the son of the late George Harrison and Allie M. Vanattia Young.

He is survived by three sons, Gary, Brad and Brent Young; grandchildren, Cortney and Emily; great granddaughter, Kennedy  all of Bainbridge; brothers, Jesse Young of CA and Freddie Young of TN and several buddies of the American Legion Post 14, where he was a lifetime member.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Young; his companion Elsie Centracchio and a brother.

George was an Air Force Veteran of Vietnam and he enjoyed fishing and hunting for mushrooms.

In accordance with George’s wishes cremation will take place and there will be no services or calling hours observed.  The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge is serving the family.
