Gerald Hugh Grabill

Gerald H. Grabill, 97, of Frankfort, died at 3:30a.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Vineyards at Concord, Frankfort. He was born on December 11, 1916 in Pickaway County, the son of the late Joseph and Bernice Britton Grabill. On May 29, 1940 he married the former Naomi M. Sommers who preceded him in death on October 7, 2013.

He is survived by four children, Jerry (Kathryn) Grabill of Frankfort, Clark Grabill of Laurelville, Gwen (Bob) Harper of Frankfort, Pam Bowdle of Chillicothe, seven grandchildren, Rod and Ken Grabill, Shawn Harper, Jason Grabill, Heidi Wisecup, Bonnie Furniss, Brent Bowdle, two step-grandchildren, Michelle Harper and Chris Arledge, eleven great-grandchildren, one brother Joe (Mary) Grabill of Tallahassee FL. He was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie L. Grabill, one grandson, Adam Grabill, one granddaughter, Tammy Grabill, one sister, Ruth Martin, and one son-in-law, Rick Bowdle.

Gerald worked as a farmer.

A funeral service will be held at 1p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2013 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor David Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 5 to 8p.m..
