Gladys H. Jackson

Gladys H. Jackson, 85, of Frankfort, died on Monday, June 27, 2011 at 10:35p.m. at Traditions of Chillicothe. She was born on April 23, 1926, in Portsmouth OH, the daughter of the late Commie and Melvina Horsley Lee. On October 25, 1940 she married Raymond S. Jackson who preceded her in death on July 13, 2004.



Surviving are her daughter; Barbara Carter of Frankfort, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, two sisters; Bessie Madden of Greenup KY, Evelyn Stuckey of Albany GA, three brothers; Marvin, Harley and Jerry Lee all of Frankfort. She was preceded in death by one daughter; Wanda Minney, one adopted son; Raymond Jackson, two sisters and two brothers.



Gladys was a member of Antioch Christian Church, Frankfort. She worked as a produce manager in retail grocery.



Family and friends are invited to gather in the Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort, for a graveside service at 11am on Friday, July 1, 2011, with Ron Ater officiating. Friends and family may call at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort on Thursday from 6 to 8PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the funeral home to assist the family.
