Gladys Marie Logan

Gladys M. Logan, 78, of Circleville, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at the Kobacker House, Columbus. She was born on October 25, 1934 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Wardie, Sr. and Kathryn Beatty Ragland. On December 24, 1954, she married Mearle Logan, Sr. and her preceded her in death on April 7, 1987.

She was the beloved mother of Mearle Logan, Jr who preceded her in death 1980, daughter; Kathy M. Fairrow of Circleville and Thomas B. Logan of Circleville. She was a beloved grandmother to seven grandchildren and great grandmother to ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters; Daisy Cosby of Chillicothe, Charlotte Wilson of Springfield, Arlene Garnes of Ashville and Hilda Jackson of Chillicothe, two brothers; Wardie Ragland, Jr. and Frank Ragland both of Chillicothe, an aunt and uncle; Kate and Roger Ragland of Frankfort. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, husband and son, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law; Fred Fairrow, I.

Gladys was a 1953 graduate of Frankfort High School. She retired as a Quality Control Inspector from General Electric in Circleville. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church, Chillicothe.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Zion Baptist Church, Chillicothe with Pastor J. Troy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort. Memorial contributions are suggested to Kobaker House, 800 McConnell Dr., Columbus, OH 43214.
