Glenda J. Cornell

Glenda J. Cornell, 55, of Clarksburg went to be with her Lord and Savior at 12:55 p.m. Thursday April 7, 2011 at her home. She was born on April 30, 1955 in Ross County, the daughter of the late Glen and Dorothy Justice Hyer. On July 8, 1973 she married Ronald D. Cornell who survives.



Also surviving are her children; Matt and Lisa Cornell of Frankfort, Mendy and Darin Halcomb of Chillicothe, her five grandchildren; Shelby Acton, Garrett Cornell, Courtney Cornell, Madison Halcomb, Marly Halcomb; five sisters: Sharon (Ed) Phillips of Clarksburg, Wanda (Dave) Williams of South Salem, Connie (Steve) Johnson of Clarksburg, Alice (Tim) Fout of Washington C.H., her mother-in-law: Betty Cornell of Chillicogthe. She was preceded in death by one son; Michael O. Cornell and one sister; Doretta Rinehart.



Glenda was a1973 graduate of Adena High School and was a loving wife, mother nad grandmother. She was a faithful member of the Frankfort Church of Christ.



Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in the Frankfort Church of Christ with Harold Rutledge and Mike Free officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held on Monday at EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort from 4 to 8 pm.
