Gregory D. Johnson

Gregory D. Johnson, age 47, of Greenfield, died 1:10 a.m., Friday, June 26, 2015 at his residence following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 19, 1967 in Washington C.H. Greg was preceded in death by his wife, Lisa Sutherland.
He is survived by his mother, Diana Merritt of Greenfield, his three children; Andrew Dale (Annie) Johnson, Marcie(Jonathon) Johnson and Thomas D. (Amanda) Carter all of Greenfield, ten grandchildren, one aunt; Joy Smith of Greenfield and many cousins and friends..
Greg was a 1985 graduate of Wilson High School in Columbus. He received his BSN degree from Wilmington College and had worked as a social worker at Edgewood Manor in Greenfield. He was a member of St. Benignus Catholic Church in Greenfield.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield with Jeff Frampton officiating. In keeping with Greg's wishes cremation will follow the service. Friends may visit with Greg's family on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon.
