Harold Dean Alexander 82 of Bainbridge passed from this life Friday, November 11, 2022 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born Tuesday, February 20, 1940 in Ross County the son of the late Harley and Harriet Daniels Alexander, Sr. His wife Naomi A. Cawley Alexander passed from this life October 16, 1994.

Dean is survived by his 4 daughters Sherri (Keith) Elliott, Tammi (Craig) Oates, Shelli Gambill and Terri Carter; 5 grandchildren Erin (Jeff) Ragland, April Carter (Paul Davis), Shaun Stephens, Jessica Stinson and Tom (Tina) Gambill, Jr.; 6 great grandchildren Gage and Hannah Mosley, TaShon Hendrix, Harley Maynard, Lilly Schoolcraft and Aubrey Maynard; 3 great great grandchildren Austin and Braxton Leeth and Jaxon McNish; 2 sisters Helen Uhrig and Shirley (Ron) Saxton; a special sister-in-law Sharon Gittings; 2 brothers  Charles (Linda) Alexander and John (Bock) Alexander; special friends Diane Elliott, James and Amy Taylor, Brad Minney (Danielle McNish), Todd Bobb and Bill Wagoner.

In addition to his parents and wife Dean was preceded in death by an infant sister Sharon; 4 brothers Harley Jr., Raymond, Robert and Jim Alexander; grandson Brandon Oates; son-in-law Randy Carter, and best friend Ora Elliott.

Dean was a logger for more than 40 years and he enjoyed collecting John Deer memorabilia and going to the Fall Festival of Leaves to look at the antique tractors and old cars.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with a brief service to follow, officiated by Mike Whitley.
