Harold D. "Jim" Potts

Harold D. "Jim" Potts, 82, of Bainbridge, died at 8:10 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield. Jim was born March 1, 1933 in Ross County, the son of the late Ernie and Stella Mitchell Potts.

Jim is survived by one daughter; Katina Wheaton (Jeremy Gross) of Hillsboro, two sons; Eugene (Cindy) Potts of Bainbridge and Jimmy Potts, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, six stepchildren; Jerry (Debbie) Knisley, Kelly (Sandra) Knisley, Ronnie (Diane) Knisley, John (Charlotte) Knisley, Janet (Frank) Cox and Sandy (Gary) Wright.

Jim was preceded in death by two brothers'; Jake and Pete Potts.

Jim was an US Army veteran serving in the Korea War. He retired from the State Highway Department District 14. He was a member of the American Legion Post 14 and was a member of the Cynthiana Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bainbridge Cemetery with Frannie Carter officiating. Military honors will be accorded by Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. No calling hours will be observed. The SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME of Bainbridge is serving the family.
