Harry Edward Gray

Harry Edward Gray, 89 of Chillicothe died 9:50 pm Thursday, January 17, 2012 at Maple View Manor, Bainbridge. He was born December 2, 1924 in Ross County the son of the late Creighton and Mabel Gindelsperger Gray. On March 17, 1973 he married the former Ruby Peirce Minney, who survives.
Harry is also survived by Ruby's seven children; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Everhart of Greenfield, Laura Kerns of Xenia and Barbara (Luther) Johnson of Chillicothe; two brothers, Lawrence (Joan) Gray of Bainbridge and Larry (Brenda) Nevin of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews and a lifetime friend, Tunney (Ruth) Myers of South Salem.
He was preceded in death by a brother Howard Gray.
Harry was a 1943 graduate of Bainbridge High School, a Navy Veteran of World War II, and a member of the American Legion Post 14 of Bainbridge. He loved to spend his time taking care of his garden.
Friends are asked to gather at the Twin Township Cemetery 2 pm Monday, January 21, 2013 for a graveside service officiated by Rev. Ernie Rumfield with a Military service to follow accorded by the Ross County Honor Guard.
