Helen Louise Taylor Egelston

Helen Louise Taylor Egelston, 82, of Chillicothe, departed this life for her Heavenly home on Wednesday evening, November 5, 2014 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born in Greenfield on July 6, 1932, the daughter of the late Oakley H. and Addie Kelly Griffith. She married Dresdin Egelston on December 26, 1982 and he preceded her in death on November 24, 1994.
She is survived by two daughters; Joetta Manson of Cincinnati and Kim Davis of Chillicothe, four grandchildren; Travis Manson, Dawn Manson Miller, Lacey Davis Powell, Lindsay Davis Sparks, and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister; Geneva Orner and three brothers; Kelley, Lester and Virgil Griffith.
Helen was a 1950 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had been a business owner in several ventures during her professional career. Helen's faith in God was an important part of her life. She was a member of the Westside Church of the Nazarene in Chillicothe.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, 2014 in the ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Friends can visit with the Egelston family on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
