Henry S. Minney

Chillicothe: Henry S. Minney 99, of Chillicothe died 4:15 am Monday, November 19, 2012 at Kindred Healthcare of Chillicothe. He was born November 6, 1913 in Ross County the son of the late Lewis and Minnie M. England Minney. On September 16, 1940 he married June Ellen Johnson who died April 19, 2004.

Henry is survived by his children, William Eldon Minney of Columbus, Nora Sue Harris and Kenneth (Felicia) Minney both of Chillicothe; 15 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren; a sister, Norma (Ralph) Penisten of Chillicothe; special friends, Sparkey Kellough and Dink Bethel.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Francis Spriggs, four sisters and four brothers.

Henry retired from Mead after 25 years and was a member of the United Paper Workers Union Local 731.

Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Randy L. Rinehart officiating. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to Huntington Volunteer Fire Dept. 6038 Blain Highway Chillicothe.
