Irma Dotson

Irma Jean Dotson, 86, of Chillicothe, died at 3:11 am on Friday, July 14, 2023, at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus. She was born on Monday, June 14, 1937 in Shinnston West Virginia, a daughter of the late Harold Wilford and Ethel Grace Lanham Davis. On February 16, 1957 she married Robert E. Dotson, who preceded her in death on October 22, 2019.

Irma is survived by a daughter, Janice F. (Eric) Lewis of Xenia, a son, Christopher Don (Chrissy) Dotson of Doddridge Co., WV, six grandchildren, Erica Ragland, Robby Currey, Nathanial Ladd, Merissa Ladd, Justice Harris, Shanta Ingram, six great-grandchildren, Timothy, Hope, Gracen, Zayleigh, Jada, Beckhem, one brother, Gayle Davis of Wallace WV, and her best friend for over 70 years, Esther Price of Folsom WV. Irma was preceded in death by one sister, Eileen Wagner, one brother, Marvin Davis, and one great-grandson, Eli.

Irma was a graduate of Lumberport High School, and worked for West Union Garment Factory.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday, July 21, 2023 in Forest Cemetery, Circleville, where she will be laid to rest beside her husband, Robert.
