James W. Brown

James W. Brown 81, of Bainbridge, went to play in the angel band, 7:15 am Monday, November 4, 2013 at Maple View Manor, Bainbridge. He was born February 15, 1932 in Ross County the son of the late David M. and Flossie Cave Brown. .

Surviving are his children, James E. Brown of Bainbridge, Mary N. Tedrow of Crooksville, Frank Brown of Bainbridge, Charles Brown of Indiana and Elizabeth Griffith of Alabama; 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents Jim was preceded in death by his wife Helen Henderson Brown; son, Thomas E. Brown, two sisters and three brothers.

Jim was a painter his whole life and loved fiddle and guitar playing and anything to do with the outdoors especially mushroom hunting.

Calling hours will be held 12 to 2 pm Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with the funeral service following at 2 pm with Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
