James A. Fugate

James A. Fugate, 84, of Bainbridge, died, Thursday morning, August 12, 2010 at the Ohio Veterans Home, in Georgetown, Ohio. He was born on October 29, 1925, in Greenfield, the son of the late Robert and Jeanette Ater Fugate. On November 30, 1950 he married the former Mary Chandler, who survives.



Also surviving are his brother; Carlon (Dorthea) Fugate, of Rockledge, FL, special cousin; Sue Hamilton, of Bainbridge.



James was a 1943 graduate of Bainbridge High School. He was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a lifelong member of the Elks Lodge 361 of Hillsboro.



In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place.
