James "Jamie" M. Owens

James M. “Jamie” Owens, 47, of Frankfort, died unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, May 5, 2020, at his home. He was born in Chillicothe on Saturday, December 2, 1972 the son of James Howard and Pamela K. Reese Owens who survive.

Also surviving are two children, Amber Mitchell of Cambridge, OH and John Michael Owens of Grove City, two grandchildren, Adrian and Lilly, one brother, Dustin Owens of Columbus, a cousin who was like a sister to Jamie, Angie Kitchen of Grove City, one aunt, Karen Owens of Chillicothe, two uncles, Rick Reese of Frankfort and Tom Owens of Chillicothe and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. He was preceded in death by two aunts, Linda Reese and Kimberly Weaver, his maternal grandparents, David and Doris Reese and his paternal grandparents, Howard and Sammy Owens.

In this unknown time with the COVID-19 pandemic, having a public visitation is not possible. Following cremation and when it is safe for public gatherings, a memorial service will be held. The EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort is serving the family.
