James Robert Kearns

James Robert Kearns, 75, of Frankfort, died early Monday morning, May 3, 2010 at his home. He was born on April 19, 1935, in Ross County, the son of the late Roy and Myrtle Payton Kearns. On July, 18, 1997 he married the former Mary Corey who survives.



Also surviving is his daughter; Vauchiska Tracey of Pigeon, MI, step-children; Roy (Melissa) Corey of Chillicothe, Andrea (Geoff) Bowers of Frankfort, grandchildren, E.J. Tracey, Nicholas, Shannon, and Abigail Bowers, Eryc, Evan, Mike, Courtney Corey, aunt; Helen Smart of Frankfort, half-brother; Joe Kearns of Bainbridge, and special friend; Dottie Bush of Frankfort. He was preceded in death by brothers; Bill, Johnny, and Willie Kearns.



Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 1 pm in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort with Pastor Neil Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort with military honors accorded by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 am until the time of service.
