James D. "Jim" Mounts

James D. "Jim" Mounts, 62, of Frankfort, formerly of Coshocton, died on Wednesday morning, September 6, 2023, at his home. He was born in Coshocton, on Wednesday, December 7, 1960, the son of the late Billy Leo and Mona Florence Moore Mounts. On March 3, 1989, he married the former Pamela Jo Thornsly, and she preceded him in death on January 18, 2006.

He is survived by his three daughters, Terri Ann, Tiffany Jo, Tricia, two sons, several grandchildren, two sisters, Jo (John) Paazig of Coshocton, Mary Spears of Frankfort, one brother, Billy (Cathy) Mounts of Coshocton. He was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Woods, and one brother, Michael Mounts.

Jim was a 1979 graduate of Riverview High School. He served his country honorable in the United States Army. He worked several years at Mineral Fiber and had been a former member of his local chapter of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and AMVETS. He loved spending his free time playing softball, being outdoors, and fishing.

In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation will be held. No services will be observed.
