James Roger Warner

James Roger Warner, 57, of Roxabel, died at 3:05am on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born on February 2, 1959 in Ross County, the son of the late Charles and Helen Ratliff Warner. On November 5, 2007, he married the former Mary Mounts, who survives.
In addition to his wife, James is survived by four children, Shavona (Cody) Donilon of Maynardville TN, James (Ashley) Warner of Knoxville TN, LaTashia Austin of Clarksburg and LaTishia (James) Betts of Frankfort, eight grandchildren, Jalen, Zakary, Ember, Everly, Darion, Darius, Deona, Darron, seven sisters, Jenny (Al) Howler, Vickie (Homer) Frisbee, Dovie (Dennis Younker) Lemmings, Goldie (Hank) Subora, Becky (Kim) Townsend, Annette (Mike) Donahue, Theresa Rhodes, one brother, Charles (Ilene) Warner and good friend and brother-in-law, Tom Gragg. He was preceded in death by one son, Homer Austin III, four sisters, Fran Johnson, Linda Gragg, Juanita Warner, and an infant sister, Shirley Warner.
James was a member of the United States Army, and an avid Buckeye fan. He worked as a cook at Crosskey Tavern, where he spent a lot of time.
A funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Rev. Don Ollie officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may visit with the Warner family on Saturday from 10am until the time of service and James requested that everyone wear their Buckeye gear.
