Jane Moorhead Newell

Jane Moorhead Newell, 86, of Heath, OH , died Sunday, February 12, 2012, at Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Newark. She was born December 7, 1925 in Greenfield, the daughter of the late J. Ray and Mabel Dwyer Moorhead. She was married to Herman E. Newell who preceded her in death on January 9, 1988.

She is survived by a cousin, Shirley Jo Yankie of Washington C.H., OH and a brother-in-law; William Newell of South Carolina.

Jane was a 1943 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School, Greenfield. She had worked as a bank teller in Newark for many years. She was a member of the Greenfield First Presbyterian Church and was active in the Sweet Adelines.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. in ANDERSON-EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Greenfield with Rev. Terry Washburn officiating. Burial will follow in Greenfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
