Janie Knisley

Janie (Mullikin) Knisley 85 of Bainbridge passed away 9:40 am Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her home. She was born April 20, 1933 in Greenfield the daughter of the late Virgil and Macie (Marcum) Mullikin. On March 4, 1961 she married Gene Knisley, who survives.
 
She is also survived by her daughters, Athena Swift and Ladonia Burns: sons, Danny, Jeffrey and Kenton Knisley; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; sister, Jean Ann Smith; brothers, Charlie (Joyce) Mullikin and Kenny (Shelia) Mullikin and many nieces, nephews and friends.
 
In addition to her parents Janie was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Dean and Elnor Ruth Mullikin; brothers, Jack and Denver Mullikin and niece Gina Mullikin.
 
Janie was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Banbridge and she enjoyed photography and bird watching.
 
Funeral services will be held 4:30 pm Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge.  Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Friends may visit with Janie’s family from 2:30-4:30 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
