Jay L. Miner

Jay L. Miner , 57, of Frankfort, died at 5:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at his home. He was born on February 16, 1959 in Chillicothe, the son of Philip James and Kay Lane Miner.

He is survived by his mother, Kay Miner of Frankfort, two sons; Jayson Miner and Jonathon Miner of Frankfort, his companion and best friend, Jeanette Lowe of Frankfort, two nephews; Logan Bennett and Layne Bobb. Jay was preceded in death by his father, Philip Miner and his brother and best friend, James “Jim” Miner.

Jay was a 1977 graduate of Adena High School. He was a farmer and retired as the Manager of the Frankfort Water Plant. He was a member of the Little Creek Gun and Rod Club.
