(Helen) Jean Poulos died Friday, March 27, 2015 at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family.
Born in 1927 in Magoffin County, Kentucky, Jean was married to Charles Poulos on August 18, 1952 in Tangiers, Morocco. He preceded her in death on December 3, 2014
A devoted mother and homemaker, Jean was an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing new recipes for her family. She also loved to read, garden and travel. Her love of travel and sense of adventure were born out as she and her husband lived and worked in many foreign countries throughout their marriage.
Jean had an unwaivering faith in God and attended the First Wesleyan Church. She was a member of the Gideons International Auxillary and over the years held several offices.
She is survived by her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchild. Elaine (Gary) Dysert, Sandy (Warren) Duplain and Kathy Bruns. Grandsons Jason, Joel and Jordan Bruns, granddaughters Laura Pierce and Colleen Sharkey, great granddaughter Lillian Sharkey.
Her family rejoices that she and Chuck are once again holding hands, reunited in heaven.
In keeping with Jean's wishes, cremation will take place with no services to be held.
