Joan Fuller, 90, of Frankfort died Tuesday morning, at 4:25a.m., on February 5, 2013 at her home. She was born on March 29, 1922 in Clarksburg, the daughter of the late Earl and Stella M. Steinhauser Dawson. On May 10, 1942 she married E. Lyle Fuller who preceded her in death on December 7, 1984.
Surviving are three daughters; Cynthia Francis of Frankfort, Karen Southward of Little River SC, Sharen Bassitt of Ada OH, six grandchildren; Jerry Gault, Cary (Louann) Gault, Shane Gault, Andy (Allissa) Bower, Nicole Bower, Amanda Francis, nine great-grandchildren . She was preceded in death by one grandson; Jason Francis, one great-grandson; Shane Gault II, and one sister; Mary Mikitta.
Joan was a 1940 graduate of Clarksburg High School. She was a member of the Frankfort United Methodist Church. She retired from Adena Schools, where she worked as the cafeteria manager for twenty years.
Funeral service will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, February 8, 2013 in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Pastor Neil Foster officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 to 8p.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Frankfort United Methodist Church, PO Box 266, Frankfort OH 45628.
