Joe Eddie Penwell Sr.

Joe Eddie Penwell, Sr. 74 of Kalamazoo, MI died Friday, December 15, 2017 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo. He was born February 5, 1943 in Ross County the son of the late Leroy and Anna Mae Keplinger Penwell.

He is survived by his children, Joe E. Penwell, Jr., James Penwell, Michael Penwell, Lorne Penwell, Peggy Ann Penwell, Chase Penwell, Carajane Penwell and Cierra Penwell; 15 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Hollingsworth and Diana Miller and a brother, Sam Penwell.

Joe was an Army Veteran and had worked construction.

Funeral services will be held 1 pm Friday, December 22, 2017 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home of Bainbridge with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with Joe’s family from 11 am until the time of service.
