John C Banks

John C. Banks, 88, of Chillicothe, died on Wednesday, May 15 2013 at Westmoreland Place, Chillicothe. He was born on November 6, 1924 in Lyndon, Ohio, the son of the late John and Sara Harris Banks.

He is survived by two sisters; Bertha Mae Pettiford of Frankfort and Margaret White of Plain City, OH. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Pettiford and Mary Maxine Munson and a half sister, Fanny Mae Banks.

John was a farmer and a member of Roxabel Second Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Mary Ann Pettiford officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held on Monday from noon to the time of the service.
