John Elwood Cottrill
John Elwood Cottrill 68 of Greenfield formerly of Black Run Rd. passed from this life Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Adena Greenfield Hospital. He was born April 7, 1947 in Ross County the son of the late Fred and Elsie Grubb Cottrill.
He is survived by three children, Andy and Mindy Cottrill of Chillicothe and Sarah Cottrill of Greenfield; 4 grandchildren and a brother, Kenny (Carol) Cottrill of Bourneville.
In addition to his parents John was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Moore.
John was an Air Force veteran of Vietnam, a member of the American Legion Post 757 and he was retired from PPG.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge. Burial will follow in the Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with John's family from 5 to 7 pm Thursday at the Funeral Home.
