John F. Ewry
John Franklin Ewry 82 of Seaman formerly of Bainbridge died 5:29 am Friday, October 30, 2015 at his home. He was born December 28, 1932 in Cherryvale, Kansas the son of the late James Immell Ewry, Sr. and Harriett Elizabeth Metcalf Ewry.
He is survived by his wife Henrietta Campbell-Ewry; children, Victor (Patricia) Ewry, Annette (Donald) Ritter, Jr., John Ewry and Rosalie (Jerry) Campbell; 24 grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother, Basil Ewry and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Geneva Smith Ewry; daughter, Beth Ewry and 5 brothers.
John was an Army veteran of the Korean War and he retired from the Veterans Affairs .
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the SMITH-MOORE-EBRIGHT Funeral Home, Bainbridge with Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Ross County Honor Guard. Friends may visit with John's family from 11am until the time of service Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution can be made to the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home Box 485 Bainbridge.
