John Todd Hammond

John T. Hammond, 45, of Chillicothe, died on Monday, April 5, 2010 at 4:58 PM at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. He was born on January 6, 1965 in London, OH, the son of the late Paul Ray and Rebecca Alice DeLong Hammond.



Surviving are his son; Paul Ray Hammond of Williamsport, sisters; Claudia (Ted) Richardt of Evansville IN, Denise Houser of London OH, brother; Gregory "Griz" Hammond of Williamsport, nieces and nephews; Carey (Jody) Tiernan, Rachel (Greg) Krupa, Kevin (Katie) Houser, grandniece; Corinne, aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends.



John was a 1983 graduate of Unioto High School and was a member of the United States Navy. He was an auto mechanic for most of his life. He had a passion for mud runners, NASCAR and the OSU Buckeyes.



In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place. Friends may gather on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 3 to 6pm at the Dry Run United Methodist Church, 7759 Egypt Pike, Chillicothe OH 45601. A memorial service will be held at 6pm with a time of fellowship to follow.
