John D. Hart

John D. Hart, 68, of New Vienna, died at 12:33 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2012 in the Highland District Hospital . He was born on October 9, 1944 in Ansted, West Virginia, the son of the late Arnold and Nettie Neff Hart. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, the former Kay Safford.

Also surviving are his children; Dennis Dean Hart, Denise Dawn Hart, both of Summersville, WV, Vince Stineman of O'fallon, IL, Angel (Mitch) Dials of Lewis Center, grandchildren; Aspen Prather, Denver Prather, Emily Stineman, 9 nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews, 1 great-great nephew, sisters; Ruth Hogg of Ansted, WV, Joella Herbert of Fayetteville, WV, Patsy McGraw of Ansted, WV, brothers; George Hart of Landrum , SC, Allen (Felicia) Hart of Ansted, WV. He was preceded in death by his brother; Charles Hart, and sister; Norene Emogene Hart.

John was a graduate of Ansted High School. He had worked and retired from DHL in Wilmington, Tecumseh Products, where he was a supervisor for 17 years, and worked for the Schwann food service. John attended the Lee's Creek United Church of Christ. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 343 of Nevada, Ohio, Elks Lodge 129 of Washington C.H., the Moose Lodge of Delaware, and the Buckeye Hills Country Club.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in EBRIGHT FUNERAL HOME, Frankfort with Rev. Dan Bill officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.. In keeping with John's wishes, following the funeral service, cremation will take place. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lees Creek Church of Christ or the American Heart Association.
